DEATHGAZE in Cologne [13. December 2014]

It was really a hot concert!

I had a job interview before the concert, so I had to look professional. But is was okay for DEATHGAZE.

The meet&greet was not that interesting, because the only thing we could do was giving presents (I gave them the small books from the fanproject), shaking hands and say some words. The bands stood on the stage and Ai was drinking beer the whole time :D

When the concert started, the crowd got excited. It was pretty hot in the club, because it was sold out and is a very small club. Ai was nearly too tall for the stage, when he stood on the box.

I stood in the back, near the bar, so I could barely see anything, except Ai when he stood on his box. He looked like a wild lion, so sexy. Maybe I could be happy to stand in the back, because he spluttered water and also beer over the crowd.

After some songs I decided to close my eyes and just feel and hear the music, because seeing was not really possible. It was an extremely different, but wonderful feeling. It was like noone else was there and there was just the music and me. If you ever have this problem too - try it. Close your eyes and listen.

Sadly I was ill this day (and still am), so I could not scream good, because I had to cough the whole time. So I stand there nearly still, enjoyed the songs and also Ai.

This crazy man! He took his microphone into his mouth! Not only one time and it was really the whole mike. I just stood there and thought 'Why is he doing this?' It looked... funny? For sure crazy.

At some point I also saw a foot on the ceiling. It was for sure Ai's foot, but I still wonder what exactly happened there.

The encore was also great. Naoki came to the stage first, showing what he could do with his drums. Then Kousuke and later also Takaki joined, before Ai came back to the stage - with kitty ears on his head. He is really a cat lover.

The played some more songs and also talked a little bit (about Sushi... and Naoki's lost passport - he forgot it in Brazil or something like this)

In the end, it was a wonderful concert, but I wish I could have seen more. MTC is a lousy club for concerts, especially when it's DEATHGAZE and sold out.

I bought some merch, a shirt and two CDs from a friend.

(Also a photoset and a poster, but these two things are for a giveaway.)

But the shirt is pretty cool!

I really hope DEATHGAZE will come back someday, after their hiatus. Hopefully it's really just hiatus and will not end in disbandment. I love these guys!
